The township of Millburn/Short Hills seems to be especially appealing to potential new homeowners with families. These potential new homeowners want to invest in property in an area that has a public school system worthy of their children. The township of Millburn/Short Hills hosts the number one public high school in the state of New Jersey. Unsurprisingly, many of the recent graduates from Millburn High School will be attending Ivy League universities this fall. U.S. News and World Report ranked Harvard University the number one national university this year, and two township students will be attending there in September. Princeton University, ranked the second best national university, will be hosting four new Millburn High School graduates. Additionally, four recent graduates will be attending Yale, one is heading to Stanford University, six are going to the University of Pennsylvania, two are heading for Columbia University, three to Dartmouth University, two to Brown University and eleven students will be going to Cornell University. In addition to students heading off to the Ivy League, several other prestigious colleges and universities can look forward to educating recent Millburn High School graduates including: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Michigan, Emory, Tufts, Duke, Carnegie-Mellon, Tulane, Johns Hopkins and Rice Universities and Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute. According to Millburn High School guidance counselor Nancy Siegel, many students accepted to prestigious smaller liberal arts schools also had the option of attending Ivy League schools. The township of Millburn/Short Hills cares about its youth. That is why they work so hard to make sure that a diploma from Millburn high school is a recipe for success.
