Short Hills Millburn Transportation
50While the township of Millburn-Short Hills is a wonderful place for anyone to live, one of the bests aspects of the town is how easy it is to leave it. There are NJ Transit buses and trains that make it simple, affordable, and time efficient to travel to New York City. The public transportation system affords transportation to both mid-town and lower Manhattan. This type of transportation is valuable for parents who work in the city, as well as to teenagers who might have internships in New York. The path train drops passengers near the prestigious New York University - a popular University frequented by Millburn High School graduates. On top of that, they carry passengers to businesses in Hoboken, Newark and Jersey City. Town members are appreciative of this service and take advantage of it for their jobs, to see Broadway shows, try new restaurants, and visit family. In order to make the commute as smooth as possible, the township has provided commuter parking lots for residents to utilize during the day. There are train stations in Millburn as well as Short Hills to maximize convenience. As for commuters who prefer to take the bus; there are pick up spots in both towns for commuters to choose from. Should one seek to travel further than a train or bus might be able to take them, Millburn-Short Hills is merely a fifteen to twenty minute drive to Newark Airport. It is also close to many major highways, which can make family vacationing easier. New home owners will be happy to know that while Millburn-Short Hills is a safe and beautiful place to live, should they ever seek some big city excitement, they are just a train ride away.
